I hope everyone has had a fun start to the summer! The fourth of July is here already! For some this is exciting. For others with ADHD, it can be a time of stress: noise, people, no structure. It's ok. Just let that kid enjoy what he can enjoy and remove from chaos when needed. I remember going through that. A couple of my kids were very stressed when we were in that environment of fireworks. It is tough for them to regulate in general and add this where they feel out of control and you see behaviors that are negative. Remember, behaviors are a form of communication.
